Request for Quotations: Supply of a 10-Tonne Truck (Lot 1)
Chithumba Limited invites eligible and qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of one brand-new 10-tonne payload truck with a closed van (box) body, delivered to our offices in Kanengo, Lilongwe.
Key requirements
- Brand new, unused 4x2 medium-duty truck, right-hand drive
- Payload of at least 10,000 kg after the van body is fitted
- Diesel engine of at least 115 kW (155 hp) and 600 Nm, Euro II or better
- Manual gearbox with at least 6 forward speeds, power steering, 24 V electrics
- Van body at least 6.0 m long, 2.2 m wide and 2.2 m high inside (30 m³), ventilated for grain, with lockable rear double doors
- Warranty of at least 12 months or 50,000 km
- Cleared through customs and registered with DRTSS in Chithumba Limited’s name
- Delivery within 60 days of order

How to submit
Complete and sign Sections B and C of the bidding document and attach your trading licence, current tax clearance certificate, PPDA registration certificate and a list of recent contracts. Mark the sealed envelope with CHL/G/NCB/2026/001.
